Urgent- Canalside Heritage Centre- Please fill in the Survey for Lottery Bid before Thursday 21st Feb

We now have to re-consult and it is essential to the Stage 2 bid to get as many responses as possible. It would be very helpful if you could complete the new survey, before Thursday 21st Feb at:

It only takes about 1 or 2 minutes.

Some of you filled in a questionnaire last year, which was a big help in securing Stage 1 Lottery funding.

We now have to re-consult and it is essential to the Stage 2 bid to get as many responses as possible, so I would be very helpful if you could complete the new survey, before Thursday 21st Feb at:

Many of you already know about the Canalside Heritage Centre project in Beeston Rylands.

It involves the restoration of the 18th century cottages immediately adjacent to Beeston Lock and the creation of a heritage centre and exhibition.

We will be submitting the bid for Stage 2 lottery funding in early March. This will fund the construction and exhibition and will be for approximately £840,000.

We will then have to raise some ‘match funding’ of about £140,000. Fortunately we already have at least 50% of this in place.

For the latest details on the project please go to our website:

www.canalsideheritagecentre.org.uk

Please forward this on to anyone who knows the area and who you think may wish to know about the project or complete the survey.

Many thanks

For Landlords with properties in Lenton / Dunkirk area

Landlords with properties in the Lenton and Dunkirk area of Nottingham will have the unique opportunity of being able to meet with and discuss housing policy with the leader of Nottingham City Council Mr. John Collins.

Mr Collins wants to discuss local issues and will be at the Dunkirk Community Centre on Tuesday 26th February 2013 from 5:00 – 6:30pm.

This is a great opportunity for landlords who are opposed to Article 4 and Additional Licensing to attend. In addition if there are any landlords who know of residents in these areas who are unable to sell their properties because of Article 4 we would love to hear from them.

If you wish to attend the event please contact the EMPO office or come along to the EMPO open day as part of Lenton action week. This takes place at the EMPO office on Friday 8th February from 10:00am – 3:00pm. Landlords, residents and tenants are all welcome and will have the opportunity to discuss any issues concerning the Private Rented Sector.

Kind regards.    http://www.empo.co.uk/
